Owned and operated a 750 head cow operation prior to getting involved with Ostrich.

1993 started Rocky Mountain Ostrich with doctor Bob Church and built it into the largest Ostrich farm in Canada.

Selected breeding stock in Africa and built quarantines in Zimbabwe, Namibia and England to import the Ostrich into Canada.

In 1995 20% of all breeder sales in Canada were from the RMO genetic selection program.

Initiated a DNA fingerprinting program for Ostrich which is a planned feature for Universal Ostrich Farms Inc.
